These terms apply to all services provided by iTech Resource.
Scope of Work
Services are performed as outlined in your estimate or as discussed in advance. If unexpected issues arise — such as hardware failure, data corruption, or significantly longer recovery time — you will be notified before any additional work is performed.
Customer Responsibilities
You confirm that:
- You own the data being worked on
- No illegal content is present
- Passwords and access information provided are accurate
Data Recovery and Risk
While all reasonable care is taken, data recovery and transfer work involves inherent risks. Recovery cannot be guaranteed, especially when working with failing or damaged hardware.
Liability
We are not responsible for:
- Existing device or hardware failures
- Data loss that occurred prior to service
- Loss resulting from faulty or failing hardware
If a situation becomes high-risk, you will be informed before continuing work.
Payment
- Standard payment terms are 14 days
- Hardware costs or travel fees may apply when relevant
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and the confidentiality of your data. This policy explains what information we collect, how it’s handled, and how it’s protected.
Information Collected
I may collect:
- Your name, phone number, and email
- Device information
- Account usernames and passwords (only if required for service)
- Notes related to the service requested
How This Information Is Used
Your information is used only for:
- Completing your service
- Communicating with you
- Internal record-keeping and invoicing
Data Handling
- Your files are not shared, viewed, copied, or accessed unless necessary for the service you requested.
- Data is never sold or shared with third parties.
- Access passwords are handled carefully and deleted once work is completed.
Retention
Customer contact details may be retained for future service history. Data from your devices is not kept after your job is completed unless explicitly agreed upon.
Your Rights
You may:
- Request destruction of any stored personal information
- Request a record of what information is held
